I think it's just cuz they're ugly that the uke treats them like that. He's also rough around the edges so he's naturally like that to everyone
tbh i havent seen any of that besides here maybe I'm not reading enough lol, but i feel like in this situation it makes sense since he's not the maternal type and the author has stated that he's no supposed to be a good person
