Bruh all smut stories are like this. Theres so many over used tropes like doomed yuri and overtly heteronormative BL. But if you want good smut stories you have to look in the psychological genre I liked rusty quadrilateral but it’s a bit… much also merry psycho. It has problems but it’s okay.
Yea I can’t argue with that.. I do actually love the psychological genre for a while that’s the only genre that really held my interest, still probably holds it the most but gotta break it up here and there lol. I was really sad Rusty Quadrilateral was so short I loved it & Merry Psycho has been on my to read for a while I’ll have to start it soon. I finally picked up and devoured flowers are bait right when the season ended and need more ╥﹏╥
Maybe my frontal lobe has developed well. I can’t bring myself to read it anymore. It feels like the sex is being done to the woman, she’s overly sensitive, always asking the ML to slow down or that it’s too much as he’s amazingly calm, the fl is on the verge of behaving as if she’s not actually enjoying it and occasionally asks to stop (the pattern across most manhwas). Rarely do we have a fl enjoying it as much as the ml, or actively involved, or asking for more rather than less
Rarely do we have a controlled fl, it’s a boring pattern to be fair that also exists in yaoi (ones overly sensitive and sobbing the other isn’t)
I guess a buck load of people view sex as a dominating thing. Frankly it isn’t that serious, this manhwa is cute, but just my two cents. It’s *dull*, like you read it and say “Ah this again” especially for straight manhwas. And if the fl is ever ‘domming’, she’s usually abusive and breaching consent. It does send a subtly poor message, the main one being, showing how female leads wants sex with the male lead without actually showing they’re openly enjoying it. Cant happen apparently
