Yes, and people tried to say him being a whore is complex. Please, no it's not, it the easiest way the author know how. If they actually put thought into it. Like you said there are other ways to do it but it always the same way. The nice one will always have to be the back bone who protects the messy one. The nice one never have any self respect and takes all the abuse just for a simple "I love you" from a character who is that not worth the drama.The nice one will never any one better they will just always forgive the abuser in the end. These authors make the same story the nice one always goes back to the whore. The nice one can never have a lover too. The nice one will always forgive him for his shiity behavior. The uke action will get excused because of trauma. It happens all of time same story different characters. Welp
