Yes! The novel is way different and better. Manwha doesnt do such a bad job but alot of stuff is rushed and it ruins the story if you read the novel.

Personally,I felt that the manhwa handled the romance better. In the novel it always felt that hestia loved kael way more than he loved her. In the manhwa,it feels that they love eachother equally. Then again I read the novel quite a while back so I don't really remember too clearly.

Oh definitely agree that it feel like hestia loves him more but I feel at a certain point you start to see how much more kael loves her. I think its more towards the end which makes it feel like its never equal love between them.

I do agree that towards the end ,it felt like they loved eachother equally. For me,I mainly remember just reading on and on about kael being hung up on Diana . The manhwa has a more comedic tone so kael feels more human .Whereas novel kael seemed more indifferent and the only times I remember seeing him exhibiting any emotion was if diana is involved. Thats why hestia nearly taking her life in the novel held so much weight coz that's the 1st time you see kael reacting so emotionally towards hestia. Then again ,I am not the best at reading between the lines,so there's probably lot of nuances that went over my head and that maybe novel kael's love for hestia is just more subtle compared to the manhwa.

I felt the same way but there was a few chapters of Kael's POV. From those chapters you can tell how early on Kael stopped caring for Diana
