I commented before here that in puppy's case they even did it to his attitudes. In the novel the puppy personality is really abrasive and crude, he IS a fight dog. The whole point of the novel is that a puppy like dog is a way better fit to the be the Overseer than a scary looking wolf, it's the appearances are deceptive trope.

Fight dogs is how the casino dog call themselves, it's about his personality. Even tho he is pretty good at fighting, when the blond fucker stabbed the ml, the puppy beat him up so hard that he ended on the ICU (he only didn't kill him bc he was interrupt). Or when he started doing the ml's job he knocked out a bear who was trying to embezzle money using an ashtray

Extras, if I remember correctly it would be in chapter 45 in the manhwa, when ml has to stay in wolf form for recovery
