He didn't come back. Taekjoo was going to the Korean embassy to ask for help but Zhenya already waited for him there.
He did tho?? He was literally thrown out to die...he lived, got well, and decided to go back to further investigate the existence of Anastasia, made that whole mess of blowing things up, then getting caught again?
When I first read this part my initial reaction is why did he come back? I don't think I'll ever love my country enough to do all of these when simpler jobs that makes decent money exist.
