So anyway, from what I heard, yeah he's doing to mess with her. At first, he was interested in her since she could see his real form, but then he falls for her.
Not too sure on if she had memory loss or her mind is fighting the memory rewrite that was done around them. Her dreams seem to tell you she might have witnessed the end of the world, but being the one that saw him in his true form, he paused the destruction from an interest while rewriting memories but maybe failing to fully do so for her since she could recall her life before waking up? It certainly seems this way. I do know he gaslights her a lot, he's a mega black flag.

So I’ve seen this on TikTok and read the comments. For what I heard he’s completely capable of controlling how she views him and can make her see his “human face” but decides not to bc he has fun messing with her with all those different faces. He finds her reaction fun.(づ￣ ³￣)づ
