HIGHLY agree. I've never felt more irritated by a make lead. He's more like an annoying bug that should get squashed.

For real, i don't get it. It's almost as if the authors spent all their good will and talent on the female leads and then sprinkled with the leftovers the douchebags that only have the halo of the plot to make them magically likeable to ANY human being with self respect.

Exactly. Or they could at least go for a dramatic ending to such douchebags. I'll take murder and suicide (sorry if this sounds bad) any time in comparison to the victims ending up with their abusers. Or at least make the female leads live and realise her worth doesn't need to count on another person

I really like the female lead but i can’t get over their first few interactions. Tells her not to hop in his bed and no funny business like seducing him cause it will NEVER happen, now look at him, he’s a horny douchebag basically begging desperately to fk her. The plan was to marry her off and then you get angry at that when she gets proposed to, i just can’t. The male lead is just so flakey and moody and wishy washy and just takes it out on her most of the time and wonders why she doesnt like him. Idk but you belittle her upbringing every chance you get, you let her get touched by random men, stepped on her already broken ankles, paying her to fk her until your satisfied before sending her off to marry and is surprised when she’s treating you the WAY YOU WANTED TO BE TREATED IN THE FIRST PLACE. I really don’t like him, she deserves better, there are really no good men around her.
