They be just be thinking that coz that's such a "typical bl bottom troupe". Which is correct but Jiwon was written to actually have valid reasons why he turned out like that. Some pro atheles irl are literally like him to some extent with not being able to handle the spotlight. Also not really knowing how to handle real life situation coz the sport pretty took over his life like yalls not reading this story that well
It seems like flawed characters who show these type of vulnerability are just not allowed in BL. Yes it gets overused but that when proper writing and nuance comes in to play. And really Jiwon is written at the right place who just needs the story to develope him more as a character
