Shitty yes but he’s also not truly bad or incorrigible. It’s kinda a gray area bc of the context of the manhwa imo. That doesn’t mean he isn’t aggressively shitty to the MC!

But plot is really good though! It’s a different take on a power based society.

The ml is actually really shitty, everything you heard is correct. He is an irredeemable pile of trash. He is the captain of a terrorist organization that kills anyone that gets in their way, including normal civilians who happen to stumble onto the scene.
Their grand reason for being murderers is that they want to use their abilities without government control, which is fine until they started killing newbie users and citizens that even breaths in their presence.
The ml has lied and manipulated the mc more times than should be allowed. The mc who is supposed to be smart can’t even figure out his rapist true identity even after one of the ml’s subordinates, said that their captain, the ML, was the Mc’s boyfriend, RIGHT TO HIS EAR.
The mc has clearly refused and rejected the Ml’s advances and punched him multiple times but the author just skims over all the red flags and now they are in love .
The potential wasted brings a tear to my eye.

Same I just hate when authors make the characters so infantile and easily accepting of everything.. as humans there’s just no way that’s believable.. everyone has a limit to the amount of BS they can endure

That aside the plot is interesting I love when characters like the MC are known to be OP but I just wished the OP nature also bled out into his personal life

I like it though that the bad guys in this manhwa aren’t just the ML and his group though everyone is cuckoo for coco puffs
