Well people did misunderstand after all but it's okay to disagree.
I can see that and seeing the comments it does make sense that that's what they meant.
I did get the "how cliche" vibe but after being on this site for so long and seeing some pretty questionable takes, I can't help second guessing some comments lol

ok but like. AJ isn't real. the author(s) chose to write it that way. i think its fair to criticize the writing of the story for constantly choosing to put AJ in those stories - to criticize that AJ is constantly drugged, raped, and has "no power mentally and physically".
And things can still be cliché even if they "make sense". The top jumping in to save the bottom from being raped (usually right before it starts or shortly after it starts) is a cliché.
exactly idk why theres an argument over the og comment bcs if it wasnt worded weirdly then why did so many ppl misunderstand? and ppl love to throw around the word cliche whenever everyone is not a buff weapon welding soldier lol this story lit explains why aj is helpless and yet ppl will still go be dense and js say anything
