oh, that definitely happens to people! mood fluctuations are crazy lol. even if they seem over the top, they’re a real issue esp in combination with mental illness (of which jiwon deals w in spades due to his trauma history). hell jiwon is really easily readable to me as having bpd and the way his mood fluctuates the way it does is a good part of it
