i ask some question about mangago before and one mod told me to refrain from talking about other sites other than asking about b@to so i wouldn't want to risk it again lmaoo
i havent tried uploading placeholders yet, but since your chapters dont auto approve and have to be approved manually, i'd recommend u to wait. after i uploaded around 40-50 chapters, mangago started letting me upload chaps without there being an approval period. like i can just upload one & itll publish right away. so the other uploaders probably have that option, and so can upload as many placeholders as they want.

wait really? i never know chapters can get auto approve here hello?? i thought everything is under staff surveillance bcs before this someone did told me to upload consistently/more chapters here to lessen the approval times so i keep uploading stuff and it’s more than 70 chapters already yet my chapters still have to wait to be approved for hours, my min average approval time is like 3 hours and max waiting time is 12 hours.
so i never tried placing placeholders before but bcs i actively upload stuff on b@to and other sites as well (more than 200+ of my chapters are auto uploaded here by bots bcs of this sigh) i tried to stop it from auto uploading here just to keep up with mnggago “consistent” uploads on my own acc and stop bots from taking my chapters from there.
but now they won’t even approve my placeholders yet they approved my chapters at the same time, they just ignore my placeholders ijbol and idek why, i followed the right posting format as well like without sending notif and put the placeholder first claim to post first section. and that’s crazy tbh bcs seems how my chapters are more than that, i still gotta wait hours and my other sites upload got pending bcs of this sigh..

tbh im not exactly sure how they decide to let people upload directly. like, I had a friend on here who only had around 5 chaps uploaded, but she could upload more directly. ALSO, I remember she uploaded a placeholder once and mangago took away the auto approve thing from her. meanwhile it took me 40 chaps, but I used to upload like 3 to 4 chaps per day (I'd upload one as soon as the previous got approved). so I think the admins just thought itd be easier to let me upload directly. maybe they're fussy about placeholders for new uploaders? I don't understand mangago honestly, but u too should be able to have that option sooner or later

welp, mine stuck at 12 hours for 3 placeholders now oh well idek anymore. the new chapters came out tomorrow so i'll just change the PH into actual chapters like before i guess lmao troublesome but can't do anything bout it, thanks btw.

coming back here for an update; my newest chapters got approved after more than 17 hours while none of my placeholders got approved after more than 4 days. now it took a lot of time as well to even upload 1 chapters. i think i’m doomed like your friend now after placing placeholders lmao it’s happening in real time now
Maybe this is happening because of lots of "wanna be" uploaders trying to upload unofficial and trash translation (google/machine translation) and the most favourite.....taking other website's uploads without credit....wait there's one more!, Trying to upload over the official uploader without permission and notice(this happened to me n I was soo pissed, and they didn't evn care to message me, instead tried to victimized themselves in the comment section by saying "I'm only uploading the officials because it haven't been updated in a long time, why are you getting heated?"......I literally posted a notice 3 days before saying "I got permission from previous uploader and so I'm taking it over". That person didn't even take permission from the previous uploader nor mine...look at their attitude just because they can upload omg).
I hope, may this kind of uploader never find us genuine uploaders who uploads good quality and good translation chapters...
that really sucks jeez i hate uploaders with no manners, i’m sorry that happened to you. it’s true that nowadays people are eager to upload mtl trans mostly so it’s disrupting the uploading flow. sad how this happened to both of us. i hope we’re saved from this in future as well bcs if this keeps going i might just give up and let bots stole my chapters from other sites like before sigh.

If I'm sure since I only upload here. I saw my teams translation being uploaded in mang0bUddy, yaoiMAng0, and so on.... It kinda feels weird when I see it, tho I have no problem if the credit page is intact.
i honestly don’t have any problem either as long as my credit page is intact but the thing is people ask me to upload a lot of chapters here if i want to be more at ease with the whole uploading approvals on this site. i let the bots here stole if not hundreds, thousands of my uploaded chapters from the other sites before this, so i started uploading here just to fill the quota on my own mnggo acc lmaoo
how do uploaders put multiple Placeholders on mangas and got approved for it? i put 3 placeholders for 1 manga and it went on more than 3 days in crickets, abandoned and not even got approved while my uploaded chapters got approved in 3-5 hours at the same time. so how exactly do i stop bot from snatching chapters from other sites then smh
