Although she did go into the study without Rika's permission, started talking smack to the editor straight off the bat and being completely disrespectful, then threw a bookshelf onto the editor (Which, by the way, could have killed her). I think that lamp shade and simple screaming of "Don't Touch Me" would have been enough instead of attempted murder or serious injury.
You can't really define Hibiki with a 'normal' and 'sane'.
One can define her as normal and sane if she can socialize with others, and force other people to respect her bounds. I mean really, half of my friends act like her, telling me to respect their boundaries but never giving a crap about mine. Plus, just because someone is an introvert, reads novels constantly, and is more level-headed than others doesn't make them abnormal or insane.
