Your spoiler IS A BIG DEAL. The ML is an asshat so it wouldn't be weird of the MCZ got fed up one day but he intend to strip everything of he leave?? Thats crazy. Everyone is so evil to the MC here. He's jusf i lil cuckoo for one person, but they'retreating him like some kind of bug??
No like the MC literally asks about one of the clauses and the ML stops himself from telling him “oh yeah that clause means I can slap you or use your mouth or shit on your face if you piss me off” instead he says “it’s to fix your personality issues” like I want to fuck up ML dude I just cantttttt
damnn i stayed to this point because i love mc and thought the wait would be worth it but reading this spoiler makes me wanna drop
Okay, there were a lot of things I let slide because this is clearly a more silly plot with stupid characters and whatnot. But what has really thrown me off it and made me not enjoy Eungyo (ML) and Seyoon (MC friend and lawyer) is the scene after ML confesses to MC and they agree to cohabitate and raise baby together.
ML has lawyer come to him to revise the consent form and basically make it a slave contract for MC to ensure he stops running away when he panics. In doing so, he has him say that if MC runs away or does something ML doesn’t like, misses more than three of MLs calls, goes out overnight, etc. he can never see the baby again and will be exiled from his home/country, ML gets all his assets, so on so forth.
AND THE LAWYER/ “FRIEND” AGREES TO IT. He’s like, “hell yeah you can be the legal guardian of this low IQ baby adult I have basically been put in charge of and supposedly care about, I respect you dude for thinking so far ahead!”
What fucking weirdos. None of these people have his best interest in mind and it feels so gross. Like this is homeboys LEGAL COUNSEL signing him into a slave contract when he is so smitten with ML he would clearly do anything to stay with him regardless, he went this far to have his baby (which is its own set of weird but was consensual so there’s at least that which is more than I can say for what these assholes are doing.)
Anyway, that’s my rant. May not seem like a big deal, just felt unnecessary and pissed me off because the MC is clearly portrayed as childlike and helpless.
