i agree with you but i kind of don understand how the main couple are still problematic in the end, especially the male lead's family die with the unborn baby and got manipulated by his surroundings about hating ugly people, who would be okay after that? after all, his only "bad" character is hating ugly people and nothing else so... also the time he pushed his partner aka the mc away, they were both having problems and both of their problems is causing them harm more than what you feel about it

that is because the events just happened recently, regarding on the part where they are both soaked in the pond, where they finally ended the conflict. like all we know no one can change overnight, change takes time and more effort, healing takes time as well, but as we all can see they are happy by the end of it all probably means less conflicts happened along the way of their relationship which we can assume that they are doing well together.
ok i just finished it.... what the helly?? the entire manwha is basically enabling bad people and not letting them change ESPECIALLY with the side couples, the only couple that got a "development" is with the otaku couple, the rest just remains bad people
i get that the intention of the author was probably trying to make it "realistic" but that doesn't take away on how much of a pessimist view they have on people, their arc would start as them being a bad person and end being a bad person, NOTABLY the archer guy arc, THAT SHIT ENDED UP NOWHERE
