but ian i also miserable without him lol. talking about fairness, it would be very unfair to let them be apart at the end, even by death. if you think about it logically, they have had nothing but eo in their life for so long, they are more than family or friends. jo on the other hand has had a whole life without ian, whom he has met only for a few months. for jo, ian staying with tj would only mean he lost someone for who he fell in love for some time, but for ian to be with jo it would mean for tj that he lost the one and only person in life who understands and truly loves him. it goes the same way for ian. and let's not forget that jo has an ex.. who's name is destiny.. soo... i feel hopeful despite it all.
yeah I get that & im still obv hoping for them to reconcile (and grow) but idk man. even though I adore tjian I also believe jo is the better option for ian, but at the same time maybe ian doesn't wanna choose the objectively better option? maybe even though he realises him & tj aren't good for eo, he still chooses to stay cuz that's just what he wants to choose. which also alludes to the title of the story, but then I'm like. doyak created Jo's character for a reason. I don't think he's meant to be a small hindrance in their rs or whatever, I do think he'll have a bigger role to play in the future. but yeah !! i totally agree !! I do think ians gonna be equally as sad, but at least he has somebody to fall back on, while tj's just gonna rot away alone probably

my take is that now after so much they will finally learn to be better to each other. but if you think about it, they are only "bad" for each other bc the circumstances surrounding them ever since they met have always been the worst too. it's easy to think they should just grow and be better, but in reality, is that even easy seeing their upbringing? i think ppl to take too slyly the mafia background and how much this affected them individually and their rs. and i agree, what if ian doesn't want better? i dont think jo is any better for him cause ian's problem is himself, not tj. but that would take too long to talk abt. and yeah, jo obviously has an important role in everything, but as i said jo has had a whole life before meeting ian. if he hadn't met him, his life would still exist. however for tijian their story is too tangled. im not saying jo doesn't play important in the story, but compared to tjian he doesn't seem to have that much important in the events surrounding everything else. so much that you see, he's only involved at all in mafia plot bc he's close to ian and bc of his cousin (forgot his name). anyways. lets hope for the best for all three characters !!! im sure dyk will finish everything in a satisfying way
