If that's the case I wonder why her inner thoughts are still so childish?
Because she has been treated like a child for 25 whole years. Mentally and physically abused as well. And who is to say what "acting like a child" even means.
We have 20, 30, 40, and even 50+ year olds who act like children according to societal standards. There is no definitive "adult" mold.
Also, by the average standards a child isn't scheming to take over someone's place lol.
She isn't a child.. She's an adult that stopped growing
