The story is all over the place. We got little in terms of the overall plot until halfway through and then everything was rushed at once. There were little connections and the transitions were handled poorly. The FLs main motivation literally disappears in chapter 1 and we don't hear about it again unless it's a throwaway comment. Not to mention the lost potential in these characters, especially the FL. Why is she Shakespeare?? She had the potion thing going and even made some very powerful and I assume never before seen potions. What happened to that? A lot of things such as characters and plot points are hastily and briefly introduced or completely swept under the rug and dug up again several chapters later when they need to progress the story. Overall a very messy read and I'm not even going to mention Felix literally changing skin tone when he merged with the devil, even though the devil didn't have dark skin himself. It feels as if the author had more chapters in mind and started slow but for whatever reason changed their mind and decided to rush everything on the second half. The saving grace for this manga is the relationship between the two leads. Their romance was handled pretty well in comparison to literally everything else and Felixs/ Lerrys character arc, even though small, was also done nicely. Overall, 3/5 not overly offensive but it wasn't that good either.
