This might be a hot take but if people can’t handle regressors falling in love (there are MANY exceptions though, don’t twist my words) at a certain age or whatever, maybe they shouldn’t be reading regress stories or at least those that clearly will have romance at some point. It was pretty obvious MC was going to end up with that girl at some point, and they handled it better than expected.
Ikr... like, are they really expecting youngguk to live and die alone... forever, if we're following the usual logic of time regressor have twice their age? Its either that or do you want youngguk to be with someone much older to his current body age which would be seen as "weird" as well right.
And ur right they're handling this romance quite well since they're a childhood friends with some history and I can tell where the affection comes from.
I like the take but also half disagree!! I think it's true you wont be able to know the age until you get there, but some of the life experiences do come with exposure so I don't think you can disregard the double dipping fully.
But!! In real life, nobody has equal life experiences, not even twins. You Will have people who are the same age who have lived diff lives. So if youre an adult and consensual, and they match you, what's gross about that? They're older now. Not like he was interested in her at all when they were kids.

But ur so right. I don't think age gap is weird either. My aunt and his husband has 13 y.o gap but they met when she's 19 so she's already an adult anyway and liked him first. They're still together to this day.
Plus Its not like youngguk start liking the girl since she was a child with perverted intentions either, so I think the hate is undeserved too!
Oh… um, that’s… 13 years is way too big of a gap to justify a man going after a woman who’s barely legal… I feel like when it’s a fictional story, especially one based on unrealistic scenarios (like regression) who cares? It’s not like someone will see it and take it to heart.

People often label large age-gap relationships as “dangerous” (I'm assuming dangerous is refering to pedophile right?) Because recently there are rise in pedophilias number, but that’s an oversimplification. Pedophilia is a sexual attraction to minors or children, especially with a childlike or puberscent appearance and their pure naivety.
In many adult age-gap couples (like my uncle and aunt), the connection happens because the younger partner is seen as mature for their age and able to connect on the same level. I mean, with a huge gap, usually they're not able to understand one another on many matters. Pluss, They met as adults — even if one was “barely” an adult — and they built a healthy, lasting relationship. The difference lies in intention and perception: a genuine bond between two adults is not the same as a predatory fixation on minors.
Imho though. After thinking and searching for the sources of pedophilias and age gap couples a couple years ago, that's the conclusion I got.
Oh I meant the reply above is for you too heheh. Its the way the older one views tbe younger one when they met as an adults. Did they see them as an adults too? Or does they see the younger one as a "safe" option to justify their preferences? I think that matters a lot but people seems to just brush it off and don't care about the rest.
Even for some minors in the late stage, I think some are justified to as long as
1. The relationship stays healthy and pure
2. Started dating after the younger one passes becomes adults.
Age is not the only measures for these, althoigh does plays a big role on being labeled as "pedophiles" because they targeted minors and children.
Like for a girl that likes a much older man than myself (I'm 24 and my bias is always 30-39, sayas a lot aboht my preferences lol) I never agrees that age gap is weird or the older one is disgusting. It really depends on how they act and think, honestly.

Honestly, I don’t think you can measure someone’s mental age just by how long they’ve lived alone. It’s more about the kind of life they’re living and the stuff they’ve been through.
For any time regressor, they basically come back and live life AGAIN — childhood, teen years, young adulthood, the whole package. So mentally, they’re not actually aging past where they left off in their first life. They’ve never felt what it’s like to be in their 40s, 50s, and so on.
That’s why I think Youngguk’s still stuck in his mid-30s mentally, and he won’t really “be” in his 40s until he actually reaches that age again. It’s like his mental clock just… stopped ticking when he regressed.
So he will be "growing up" together with that girl until both of them reaches his previous age. This is why I never really had a complaint on a regressor's love story. Since if you ignore that youngguk has regressed, they're actually from the same age generation, right? You guys got what I mean?
