Girl I'm AWARE that the writing of this manwha is not the best, and as i said I'm not a fan myself Though what I'm trying to say is that people often misinterpreted showing backstory of morally fucked up character as "justifying" said character's action, which in most cases it is not, people just lack media literacy and are superficial. Of course Jinx is not the best example of good writing, and the creator is definitely not defending her case making Jaekyung's backstory seem appositely a "defense" for his character, however that doesn't mean it excuses his actions or anything, but i agree with the fact that it is not well written and that's why people are viewing it that way. I don't like this manwha in the slightest and i cannot stand Jaekyung for the life of me BUT how are people missing the point of a BACKSTORY it is not supposed to JUSTIFY his actions in any way but rather understand the motive behind them, WHICH DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE TO LIKE THE CHARACTER.
