I wanted him with his friend's sister... the colege girl feels desperate (she's not, but his disinterest makes it feel so) and the lawyer feels even more desperate and clingy... she's acted like his girlfriend from the start... and he seemed legit uncomfortable around her but unable to get away from her (because of how involved with the business she is).

Hmm. Somehow he consider her as an older sister too so yeah it's kinda impossible. I don't know if it's because romance is not really the focus of the story that's why it kinda feel force for me? It feels like the author just insert it so it can have romance genre? Lol. I dunno. Well the good thing is it not really the focus of the story so it's fine atleast for me.
Sadly so... maybe because to me in the comic their relationship seems the more normal one... idk about the novel... but the comic really gave the impression mc was not only not interested but very uncomfortable with the lawyer's behavior... like... asides from aturing her behavior he didn't give even 1 sign that he's interested... that's why it feels kinda weird... but I totally agree. It's a good thing there's little about romance in it.

I read the novel and I'm satisfied. Tho sometimes I feel cringe when he started dating the lawyer cause I ship him with other girl but all good. I would rather him ending up with Ellie than going back to that ex who dumps him for some rich guy.
