Actually she's starting to be when it comes to the ML. At least stay true to yourself, the duke won and now won't have any relations with that family so technically the FL is also free. Idk why the authors dumb-up their FLs when it comes to the MLs. I would've loved if she stayed true to herself and be fierce towards him and he would've had to work his way into her heart cuz he's a jerck of course. Idk, maybe that's just me.

Also, it's pissing me off that she doesn't open her heart to no one except the ML even tho he acts really disgusting sometimes towards her. It makes her really weak and completely different from the beginning

I don’t believe this was about her letting her guard down. She and Cesar had made a deal over a week ago. Adelaide isn’t the type to walk that back. She’s too prideful or stubborn for that. She’d stand by what they agreed on. And instead of just waiting for Cesar to come to her, she decided to take control and get it over with by going to him herself

Naah, i don't agree with this. The agreement didn't matter cuz at the end of the day she agreed to it because she wanted a life where she didn't have to live in poverty and that's why she was okay and eager to marry with the 2 ML (the blonde one). The only bad taste that left in my mouth was that the ML didn't want that to happen and technically forced the FL to sleep with him so he could just relive himself or he would send her back on the streets. Just ew. There's no excuse on this planet for this. He's selfish, arrogant, cunning, narcissist and the perfect picture of a stuck up aristocrat.

And she wasn’t eager to marry the second ML, it’s more that she was okay with it because he looked like a good person to her. Also ML and FL didn’t sleep together yet, what do you mean he forced her…? All he’s been doing on that front is basically begging her (man went on his knees) to sleep with him because he thinks it’ll cure him of what he’s feeling for her.
No, that hasn't got anything with her pride or ego. Maybe that was before she started to let her guard down. Her true mindset was before she started to act all soft and stupid. She was later on okay with the fact marrying because she had the chance to escape from the ML and live a decent life plus that he is a good person also. The ML is forcing her, period. He gave her an ultimatum. If you don't-you go back. If you do-you can marry him. That fact doesn't change, and since she learned that he functions by the rule of "i give you give" she settles with the fact that she has to sleep with him. Keyword: has! And not want. So yeah, the fact that she changed doesn't change
It can be about ego and letting her guard down. The two aren’t mutually exclusive. Going to him first is clearly about her not wanting to wait indefinitely and take charge instead. It’s not like she believes that once they sleep together, the ML will fall for her. She could’ve waited to see if he’d actually go to her, but that leaves her vulnerable to his whims… also I feel like I’m missing a chapter. From what I recall, the very first time he asked to sleep with her in exchange for a castle or whatever, she said to get on his knees. He did, she ran away. Then as he forced her into a non-ending dance, they had a back-and-forth that didn’t involve an ultimatum… it was mostly about her claiming she agrees to sleep with him so she can get a bigger dowry for Esdra and him believing she loves Esdra. She told herself that if he was going to keep asking, she might as well make use of it now and get as much money as she can to make the most of it. Yes, her decision wasn’t driven by an all-consuming desire to sleep with him. Yes, it was a give and take exchange. But unless you can point me to the chapter or I’m forgetting something, there wasn’t an ultimatum involved.
She doesn't have any pride or ego now, she literally let her guard down. Only in random moments she has her old personality. In the 38th chapter he even asked himself where the stubborn and fierce woman vanished. In the 56th chapter he offers her places (where she won't have to live on the streets cuz you can see that the houses were somewhere into the town near a street, far from the nobility) in exchange to sleep with him and that's when she's confused and asked about the marriage with Ezra. Cuz logically if she's married why would she need a house for herself? After the question about the marriage Cesare thought "why won't she forget about it" and then said that it still wouldn't matter cuz Ezra is a virgin and won't notice (meaning she can still marry him if she wants to-- to me it was obvious that they tried to interpret in this way the whole situation). In my eyes it was like we'll get the deed done and i'll leave you alone. I don't know, i guess everyone sees this situation differently but for me it was quite obvious like tossing her on the streets and her marrying someone was as a plus. Her goal is to never be hungry and live in poverty, so it's not surprising to want to marry someone good. And by giving her a place to live was just like here you will have a roof above your head but able to go back to your old life. The word ultimatum was used by me cuz the way he was proposing things seemed that way, he wouldn't have let her marry Ezra just like that. I don't know, maybe it's just in my head but yeah.
