Moat probably, Yuu just assumes what he felt as a familial love because ita the thing that he always longs for and he has never been in love before either to be able to identify the feeling of love.

Imho the best ending would be...
1. He is never shown to be with anyone -they continue to chase after yuu even when they're adults

2. All of them. Harem ending. Everyone is happy.
