Iirc, this is a book. There is 2 timelines that come from the original tragedy. 1st branch off, mc remembers and ml doesn’t. MC ends up with a happily ever after and heals. 2nd branch off, ml remembers and mc doesn’t. ML ends up with MC but forever pines and regrets over the MC he destroyed. He can’t truly be happy just like how he was never truly happy in the original.
I don’t know if this will follow it, but it’s poetic to know ML is never able to atone for his mistakes.
I think it’s fine a dandy that they’re getting together I guess. But I would have actually preferred that uke watches seme find his happiness with the omega and then that MC uke would proceed to find a new love through his second chance. This plot would be more symbolic for the uke and also tell an underlying message, learning to let go of things that aren’t met to be and to move on from the past. This would focus way more on MC on a psychological standpoint and would be significantly less dramatic. However, I would’ve liked a plot like that way more because not only does it tell the readers(us) a lesson. It creates a compelling and interesting story of its own that feels more realistic.
