SPOILERS AHEAD
after josh yells at seth to get in, they start driving to get away because theres an assassination attempt, chase is obviously very out of it throughout this trip, eventually after a crazy chase they somehow escape and their car breaks down. seth goes to get help while josh stays with chase to protect him. it starts to get pretty cold and just as they're getting comfortable, a group of wild coyotes show up. chase is visibly afraid because coyotes are also kinda like dogs and hes unable to move and falls unconscious. this is where josh steps in and fights off EVERY SINFLE COYOTE while making sure chase doesn't get a single scratch. he succeeds but gets very injured in the process. after this incident, you'll all see a completely different side of chase. he will be more affectionate and clingy.

in order to save Chase they will split. After running away for a while i think car run out of fuel (might be wrong.) In the middle of the woods with no connection. Having no choice Josh tells Captain to go find connection while he stays with Chase. Until Captain find connection they had to survive in cold with no food. And then few coyotes attacked them. Chase who scared of dogs (has a trauma) hearing the sound of coyotes blacked out. Leaving Josh with no choice but fight with coyotes while protecting Chase. After fighting with coyotes Josh ends up bleeding. Even though he almost died he made sure Chase was okay. Chase wakes up and seeing Josh he asked him why would he try so hard to save him (i might be wrong:^) And after they talked (mind you Josh is still bleeding.) sound of helicopter came and Josh saw the help is coming he lost consciousness. And of course Chase panicked. (Josh didn’t die because he is just built different
