You are right in a sense, that is more efficient in preventing the spread of the virus, but expecting her to be instantly capable or not making a mistake is unrealistic. It’s easy to criticize from the sidelines, but let’s be real—she’s thrown into the apocalypse with almost zero prep time = a month.
Got memories, that's she reincarnated into a side character in a novel.
And she has a month to ensure she survives and protect her love ones, She has almost no time to prepare, no formal survival knowledge, and only fragmented memories from the novel to rely on. In fact, the novel itself confirms her disadvantage because she originally dies in it.
Her not saving more lives especially in an apocalyptic world, is actually smart, it's a world where you cannot trust just anybody —her way of adapting under pressure to save herself and her loved ones is actually one of the best FL characteristics I've seen so far this type of genre.
Cause if it were me... I think I'll die trying to fight destiny with nothing but spoilers lmao (⌒▽⌒)
Ohh why i sayed about saving village is cause if village is safe her surrounding is safe ........
And about saving her loved one if it is me ... I will take tham with me wherever i go cause we dont know when attack stats so i want my loved one with me rather than worried dead about how they are ... Ohh and thaks for puting your point of view ( and yes i am telling to save villagers for personal gain not for charity so i kind fill bad about it )
Remodeling a whole village for defense again monsters vs a manor is very different, as well as having enough food. She only have ONE MONTH, that’s very little time, and we should note that it apparently occurred 10 days before it was supposed to. So, she had around 20 days. It’d also be hard to manage so many people. Not everyone’s a good person and willing to be helpful just as we saw with the man who planned to take over the manor. Along with the fact that if someone in the village got bit they could slip away and become a monster killing everyone during the night, or at the very least take out many civilians. Not everyone will be honest and admit that they’ve been bitten. Your idea is nice, but simply not realistic.

I think FL has saved the village if she had rather adopted the village or brought the lord right of village ........
So what i mean is she was allready rich so moment her memory comes she could have take care of village....
- adopting village or by being lord of villag
- collecting information and cheking manors and village secret
- billing 2 walls out side and around manor
- after that taking loans from banks
- checking every visitor.
I AM NOT SAYING THAT SHE HAS TO SAVE VILLAGERS BUT IF THE PROBLEM SHE IS FACING IS SOMETHING WHICH CAN SPREAD THAN SHE COULD HAVE SAVE MORE PEOPLE , TO ENSURE HER OWN SURROUNDING IS SAFE AND SECURE AND SHE HAS MORE MAN POWER .
Something she could have done was collecting information on that damn manor past owner because information is the most important power
