I think it focuses on the corruption of soveishu its just badly portrayed. The whole meaning behind this is that rashta was just a victim and got corrupted by all these high end society things which was soveushies fault, he brought her into this and he turned a blind eye to things that should not have been avoided. In the end the whole point is that sovishu is at fault, rn he is just paying the price of his sins tho it coukd have been shown and explained much better

this would've been a better series if it focused on the corruption of Soveishu rather than a former SLAVE turned concubine. :( In that context, Rashta doesn't really have any other options, and is already shamed.
Honestly, yes, you can have villainous characters with rough backgrounds, and it kind of comes of as strangely classicist? to me, personally. Navier feels a bit Mary Sue.
I do enjoy these storylines, but it sometimes feels weird to me, and the art & clothing is stunning. I just kind of grew out of it. ┑( ̄Д  ̄)┍
