Well, that's what ppl have been telling here also there are no misleading labels, honestly not just in japan it sells well in other countries too because you know ppl are not idiots unlike here in this thread and everyone just started harrassing before understanding anything, well accusing others you know some dimwits really weaponize vilest accusations to sound clever.
It’s best if both sides (but only non pedophiles) give proper direct explanations without bashing each other but also, I think a romance label is misleading because one would assume that its a mutual romance. Which is pedophilic in this case. This manga has too much controversy, and there are actual pedophiles reading this. The author is suspicious as well, their other works seem to just be shota too.

I searched for reviews and apparently the kid isnt ever illustrated in a sexual manner. If its meant to be wholesome, that should really be made clear and not be slapped on with a romance label because its misleading.
