Apparently this is selling well in Japan.
I searched for reviews and apparently the kid isnt ever illustrated in a sexual manner. If its meant to be wholesome, that should really be made clear and not be slapped on with a romance label because its misleading.

Understandable! But one cannot categorize someone as pedophile without proof n reason it's not same as calling someone an idiot. This story doesn't have a romance tag, there is no mutual romance in this. I woul... Batata

Right, but there are definitely commenters that show proof of having pedophilic traits (ie outright sexualizing a child).
No romance tag? “Shounen ai” means boys love, essentially LGBTQ romance. This would count as a romance label.

Have you even read this story? Yuu face turns that way in all kinds be it being shy, embarrassed, angry, sad, blush. They weren't rubbing dicks!! Shotacon in no way means sexualization of kids. Give me proof wh... Batata

The term Shota refers to young boys. The con stems from the word complex (pronounced as konpurekkusu in japanese), it has the same meaning as English: being preoccupied with smtn/ obsessed/ exaggerated belief. Example: “She has a superiority complex”
In japanese its known for sexual attraction to the subject that comes before the suffix con, like lolicon shotacon etc.
In this case= A complex about young boys.
    Big yikes!
Also, the rape comment is on the other pages under the name iloveshota, saying they wish there was smut and that they wanna rape the kid and all of us too
