If I recall correctly they did much more than not have her eat at night or make her live in that apartment. Like, do you not SEE the answer you get from her to your behaviour? Why not change approach, if you cared? And if they DID care, why didn't they know anything about her life when she left home? They could've had someone watch her just to keep her safe, which would be despicable but they'd have known she was overworking herself. And if the house was a test, why the fuck did the older brother let it keep going? So much missed communication and failed chances to make amends, and now they cry.
Seriously, at least her og family is trying to fix their relationship, without having to drive her to her death. Except the older brother, he needs to be castrated and be kept far far away.
