I get it. The art & story looks great but the Guide is too bothersome. Personally, I find it shameful how many stories there are out here trying to normalize these unrealistic scenarios of straight men turning into bottoms all willy nilly.
I couldn't stop myself from cringing in Chapter 5 when the Guide didn't comprehend why the Esper doesn't want him... Like, my guy, homie is fucking straight and still hurting over his deceased wife who clearly had the vagina he chose to marry. Haaa..
I love Tall smexy Tops with seductive faces just as much as I love Thick power bottoms but this whole "straight Manly-man virgin-hole opening up for Mr. Pretty-boy top" is getting ridiculous. Especially, when it's non-con. It's plain to see where the Author is taking this, and giving the Esper-forced-bottom time to catch feelings clearly ain't where this is going.
I've gotten to a point where this particular trope makes me want to see the "expected" bottom man handle the pretty boy top into bottoming—like, "oh you bout to miss me with your delusions and take be my bitch."
I wish this Esper was naturally attracted to men or even curious for that matter but of course, non-con wins again.
Jupiter was groomed and was exploited since he was a child because of his speciality as a guide. (By his own father) There literally isn't any Esper who wouldn't fall for him because of his guiding power and even MC is one of them. (Despite him still grieving for his deceased wife, he feels pleasure in receiving guiding from Jupiter)
No one ever rejected Jupiter before MC and he was forced to do all those guidings by his father. He can be a dick head and all but he has his reasons for that. He is a complex character. (Mind you, apart from that non-consensual kiss, he doesn't assault the MC at all, the bar is in hell in the Yaoi world but it is what it is) Why are you judging a story when nothing even happens yet?

Agreed, it's not like I'm asking every author to be more realistic but I do hope they at least try to be a little responsible with the media they're selling (remember y'all, these authors makes money off of this kinda things, maybe not from us bc we're illegally reading, but they still do on official platforms) so the amount of authors having very obv and plain noncons in their stories when it's later left unaddressed or undiscussed, is simply worrying as I get older.
I hv to say this tho, being groomed or literally any type of trauma one person experience in Their life might be an explanation to their actions, but it is never an excuse to their actions. REGARDLESS of whatever happened to you, as an adult, YOU alone bear the responsibilities of your actions. Your past may explain your horrible actions, but it is never and never will be an excuse, so yes, even after getting groomed as a child, he is still now an adult, actively non consensually assaulted another person. This is where he needs to own up to that and apologize, reflect, etc.

As we can see, in this world guilding can be done with minimal contact but ML chose to force upon caden a LOT of unnecessary things (kissing him and hugs) and keep in mind , this guy is an S-class guide, guiding a C-class esper. It shouldn't take him all that but he still did it.
