still don't know the details but spoilers from what i saw on sns he met the author and looks appalled seeing her og appearance, got arrested, the author bail him out, went to her home, and looks depressed after experiencing the living conditions of modern commoners.
honestly i really like his story where he got to suffer like this. i feel like he got it way too easy (still being a duke and remarried) in the novel after causing so much grievances to others.

Yeah but, I believe in the novel Cliff was bad because he was controlled by the author, so he deserved to finally be free and become happy, years later. The true bad guy really is the author, who should definitely not get a good ending. So going back home when she got so many girls killed? I cannot say I would be satisfied. Being stuck in another world definitely feels like a worse punishment for her.
