I wanna deep dive into this because I kinda feel the same way unless the parental figure is not the seme. In dawn of the dragon there’s a very similar dynamic just reversed. And I don’t know why my brain is more ok with that than this? It 100% depends on who’s playing the dick giver.
as for me, I dislike when a kid grows up with alguiensomeonealguien of age that lets say they aren't related by blood and then falls in love with each other. I just don't like guardians becoming attached to someone they've seen grow whether their roles are top or bottom like it's weird for me
I get that, the jump from caregiver to lover will always seem weird. Because it wasn’t a love born of equal footing there’s a weird power dynamic because they depended on that caregiver for emotional and physical wellbeing. And when it transfers over to sexual it’s like “ wait a minute this doesn’t seem right “ we don’t help them grow up for that xD
I like cliff but the dynamic of raising a kid and and being romantically attached to it when it grows old freaks the fuck out of me
