Two years is still a very long time, not just that but he was practically treating her as if she were air during it, it wasn't until he realized the marriage contract was about to expire that he started love bombing her all of a sudden, then stopping and going cold then back to love bombing, he's just using her and she can see that but he's so good at manipulating her that she's starting to question herself, honestly she gave into his love bombing really easy, it only took her like a week to somewhat give in lol
