Thank you!!!! I work with survivors of SA and I cannot tell you how happy I am to see this. I cannot stand ppl throwing the word grooming around without understanding it. This isn't even about this particular story but just in general, it's so harmful. People who groom children already have the intention to engage in explotation and sexual abuse and they start that by gaining their trust. Also adults can groom adults as well it's just more common with children. It's so much more than how ppl are throwing them around. So glad I'm not the only annoyed with how often the word is misused sometimes.

in this case, I would argue, though, that no subtle hints in the flashbacks so far were made, even in those parts in which it was highlighted that he was looking at YW's bruises--that for some reason a LOT of the same people here commenting thought were perversion when they (the scenes) were clearly done to further emphasize the timeline and severity of YW's abuse in the perspective of Taegu as someone who's indirectly involved in YW's scumass dad's mess.
additionally, the fact that in this latest episode, a dramatic line from Taegu about how his 'pity turned to something much more' establishes a division between the past flashback chapters and the proceeding flashback chapters.
bottomline, throwing either of the terms based on what we have seen so far is in all ways wrong.

it's INSANE how people are throwing terms without a care in general especially accross media. it is so completely harmful with the way it exhibits lack of understanding about the label, then the lack of care in the said lack of understanding; the misuse misleads, contributes to the way the terms' ACTUAL serious implications get deminished, contributes to others not recognizing patterns properly instead, etc.
