lol the only reason she’s doing any of this is largely by and far for the people whom she believes deserves a just ruler. Hence why she’s assigning herself to this fate bc of her love/adoration for the people and him as ruler. A doormat would’ve just let him walk all over and reciprocate any of his feelings which she hasn’t at all. Only as readers do we see her heart which to be fair makes sense it hasn’t been that long since the past ended..
I agree with you, but I also stand with my point that she is a doormat.
She gave in much too easily, 14 years of suffering and she commited suicide because of him and then died 4 more times to escape her fate, only to give into this.
Doesn't matter if its to give the people a better ruler or whatever, it doesnt change the fact she is a doormat.
You should check the spoiler thread of its novel and you will understand.
The novel's solan gave him hell in her own ways.
And this one? She is a absolute doormat compared to her.
