
that part also made me feel a lot for him. i think that's a trauma response from him. he only became fine after chihiro agreed with him that he's got no where to go. he needs chihiro and he needed chihiro to need him too. that simple detail of him standing there waiting with so much dread made me feel so . god this author is great at writing gut wrenching shit

right!! i didn’t see anyone comment on this part and i feel like it’s filled with so much emotion without saying a single word. when he was just stood there like that my heart was heavy, i felt so deflated? and anxious? it was the perfect way to show his trauma. i literally wanted to hug him so tight god his forced smile and the way he acted okay when he returned? it might just be my favourite part of the manga.
can someone analyse what happened to haoran when chihiro left the house after that fight and he just stood there waiting at the door?? i mean i know what happened, but i'd like to hear thoughts/analysis on it
