And you think being a champion will fix him? If you assess it thoroughly you'd know striving to be a champion is also part of his trauma because he believes only by being a champion would give him validation and wouldn't be looked down by people pinned by his father, therapy doesn't work for everyone especially with Jaekyungs attitude how would you know he would even listen to the therapist when he doesn't even listen to his coach or Kim dan a Physical Therapist. What he needs "realization" that everything he believed is NOT how it looks

Don't assume every people are like that but try to look at why Jaekyung is like that since you already saw his past do you think you'd also be someone sociable and cheerful when you've lived your life like that?

Thats actually true as well, you just reminded me that this man will not listen to anybody. I just understood from that “being a champion is everything” part is the money and assurance, hes never gonna smell bad again or go hungry. He doesnt have to be fully sociable and cheerful, what i meant is that he doesnt have to be an asshole or he doesnt have to be angry immediately at everything.

Also yes looking at his past, hes very kind and understanding to older people but hes a jackass to everyone else. You should also understand that a persons past doesnt define/excuse them all the time, Kim Dan has had a rough life as well but you dont see him flipping off people now do you?

Yes they both had similar past lives but Kim Dan was raised by a loving grandmother while Jaekyung was surrounded by delinquents and an abusive father and his coach only showed tough love and was never caring but only taught him how to survive so of course his attitude would be a natural response to everyone around him

Another is they're different individuals so it's natural to have different perspective in lives, Kim Dan was a soft person because he was taught how to be caring and kind by grandmother while Jaekyung was raised only how to survive a harsh world where only becoming a champion is success in life
