I think he just didnt wanna develop any other feeling that doesnt belong in the ring. And he used violence, bc he is stronger, and thats a good way for both of them to not fall in love. And as he said, he is that anxious before match. Im not saying its okay to hurt others, its just that there are ppl like him. Some wants to hurt others by relieving themselfs, some doesnt. Maybe he was with so many partners he doesnt think talkingd matter anymore. Hes tired of his life outside of box. Sadly im not a doc, my uneasiness from this type of behaviour grows by day :/

But there are ppl who just doesnt go to therapy, who just has sex w different ppl every night, who cant put their money elsewhere… open your eyes, not everyone wants to be good and helpful and right… they just wanna live their life whilst they can do anything. And this gives them this superiority that they can treat others as shit. What do you mean no reason? These types of mfs dont need reason. Even i dont need reason to buy a meal for anyone. Ofc there are better ways to do so, but dont expect everyone (him) to think the same logic as you. Like, red lamp, someone didnt see and walks down. Everyone thinks differently, the things you find logical and rightful arent the same as mine or others'. Im not talking about morals and laws yet. I dont even want to. People doing it doesn't mean it's okay. There are things that are GOOD and BAD and it does not depend on the person "thers no reason to do some things". Everything has a reason. But anyways let's not talk about that
Jae decided not to go to therapy because he didn't give a fuck. My point is he's ass because he chooses to be. His redemption is gonna be ass like his personality. All this plot had a solution called therapy. Jae had no right treating bad people, let's not start getting empathetic with people that treat people bad just because Omg to actually have to say this
Im not empathetic, i just see this around me too much. And therapy isnt always the best.
My moms friend divorced recently, his prev therapist died (he had two strokes in the last four years), and his new therapist said and stands on her feet: go around town fucking people, thatll help his depression, anxiety caused by the divorce (the wifes insane actings made him have the strokes… and she didnt even called an anbulance on the second one). Another doc, same 'treatment'… Its insane. I do have to say he is a millionaire, ofc everyone wants to have his money. I didnt believe this either until i saw those conversations and photos… like hell, how can a certified person do that?
Im not against doctors and therapists, im against the ppl who dont care about others, and exploit the living hell out of them.
Still that doesn't prove my point wrong..? You'll find "professionals" that doesn't do their work everywhere. Everyone had a bad doctor, me included and I didn't stop going to the doctor when I was feeling sick.
What Jae has IS something a therapist, a good one, can help to solve. Nightmares about his past, too emotional explosive... Yeah, he needs therapy.
If you wanna go with examples ill put myself. I was dealing with a horrible anxiety and depression when i was 14 to 17 and I didn't have the resources to go to therapy. One teacher recommended me to go to the highschool therapist. I only needed 4 sessions (in my case) to start improving and trying to solve everything that was bugging me.
A bad experience does not mean that everyone doesn't do their job properly. Yes, your mom's friend was unlucky but again you don't stop going to the doctor just because one of them treated you bad or invalidated you.
