I never thought of it like a manga but more like a newspaper comic strip? Originally it was like that, later a story develop and now we got back to the origin again, I think that we will have them forever but not with a full story

I could be wrong but I think what's holding the creator back is the Yaoi ban in China. It wasn't as bad (the ban) when the comic started but as the years progressed the ban got more serious and I think it really held the creator back from doing more with the story
