He caused trauma on Chase and Chase hates him, but not a bad guy in a normal sense.
Grayson is difficult to explain without spoiling.
What you need to know in general is, that for the author all domiant alphas are psychopaths, it is much more problematic when they are born before puberty.
Grayson is a very are case of being born manifested, so he has probably more problems than others. From not being able to understanding/recognizing emotions to seeing/understanding things in a different way than normal (sometimes it really looks insane), which makes his interaction with others often come over as weird and his way of helping extremely problematic, since there is always the possiblity that it can cause harm to the recipiant. The problem here is that Grayson isn't even aware of it, he selfishly thinks that what he thinks the way he uses to help does help the other, but that is often not the case.
The last time in KMIYC you see him in the side stories, were he really helps Chase in getting Josh for him.
His fate in his own story (webnovel), is this guy on the left:

* very rare case.
One sentence sounds strange, I shouldn't write when I'm still tired, it should be:
...he selfishly believes, that the way he himself is convinced will be helpful, helps the other, but that is often not the case.
In short Chase is one victim of Grayson's misguided way of helping and not considering Chase feelings in the process, while Grayson is completly unaware of it.

One of the problems was that he was diagnosted as being emotionsless as a child, by several doctors, and not as someone who actually felt emotions, but can't recogize them and understand them, and being unable to express them, with the exception of his ears ( uncontiously). His ears move when he is exited, a trait he inherited from hie omega father. So they most likely treated him the wrong way.
He was taught to read emotions, and copy how to react.
He slowly starts to understand emotions, probably because he fell in love for the first time.
Dane takes the time to try to explain to him what it means when he body reacts in a certain way, what fear is for example.
And he starts to understand some on his own in certain events, recognizing them for the first time.
Later he comes to the conclusion on his own ( Dane isn't present at that time), that he had hurt a lot of people in the past, especially Chase. And he goes on a apology tour, apologizing to everyone he had hurt ( they thought he had gone insane or being replace by someone else lol), even giving compensation if they had a wish, with the expection of sleeping with them, that he wouldn't do.
The apology for Chase came in the epilogue, it was a sincere apology. The problem: Chase didn't believe him. Dane was afraid the Grayson could get hurt, so talked to him before. And Grayson mentioned Dane to Chase, while Chase was from the start suspicous that it was just to tirck him, and when he heard Danes name Chase stopped listening.
But he is going to try again.
Even if Chase in the end decides to not accept the apology, Chase still needs that apology to get closure, because Chase is still effected by the past. So it's good that Grayson won't give up.
Grayson had a really good development in his story.
But it's also true that he pulled some insane shit in the past.
I'm not white washing what he did in the past or to Chase, I think no does that, but understanding why he did those thing makes you also see him in a different way.
Thanks so much for your time and patience reading your Comment i kinda understand him a little because growing up I used to struggle understanding emotions myself I used to be told by my family and friends I was heartless and cold until I got my nephew then I feel like I wasn't you know I'm not that perfect yet
While reading it I followed a facebook group, a few times it was mentioned that some had a family member with that problem.
I think it makes it much harder to interact with others, because you can't force yourself feeling/showing emotions.
But interacting with someone like that is also not easy I think, since showing emotions is an important form of feedback.
It's great you made some progress. :)

But from some Comments is like Grayson is the bad guy I'll like to know if he really is how did he meet his end please and thanks
