Ash and Nicolas

As the other comment said- I think it would’ve made more sense for this manhwa to include Ash’s backstory with Nicolas as it did in the Novel. If you didn’t know, Ash and Nicolas used to date a while ago before they broke up because Nicolas became interested in Karlyle’s brother, Kyle, so Ash had a one sided love after. One night, Ash was walking Nicolas home after breaking up and Karlyle saw them and got mad at Nicolas because he assumed Ash and Nic were out on a date while Nic was dating Kyle at the time. That’s why in the third chapter of this manwha, Ash says that their first meeting was “unfortunate” and there was that one flashback panel of Nic and Ash next to each other infront of Karlyle. It’s also why Ash says he’s only agreeing to see Karlyle and help him because it was Nicolas’s request, whom he still had feelings for and wanted to see him happy. (Not to mention- Ash also told Nicolas he wouldn’t mind seeing him secretly still even as he is a married man to Kyle T_T) After finding this out it honestly made me think a teeny bit differently of Ash but lol anyways atleast they’re happy together in the end. But it was so relieving and made so much more sense re-reading this manwha’s first couple of chapters after seeing what the novel had written about their backstory and “first meeting” cause people who have only read this manwha think that the first meeting Ash and Karlyle had was at the Times Square which confuses the dialogue and what they are actually referring to.
