Nain seems to be extremely naive and young,( too young to be having that kinda sex with his god and dad) creepy, but he gets the jist of how Amon runs things. Amon is the center of everything. Nain is unhappy in his place as Amons favorite. Which drives the story a bit. His jealousy, his insecurities, and his interest in the pink hair which relates all to Amon. Nain doesnt get a choice. That makes him unhappy. But I hope pink hair guy gets to take him somewhere Amon can't. Like romance.
