Euhan is so tame compared to other "toxic bl" manhwas. And thats insane because hes like unheathily obsessed with Han-gyul and ruined his life cuz he was so down bad and yet somehow he's just not even that bad of a guy its not his fault I fear!! There was never a point where we can pin where it was his fault. Of course he could've stopped and been mature but WHO could've taught him that? He was gaslit like his whole life to protect himself while still wanting someone so bad it made him physically ill. I honestly cannot say this is anyone's fault. This manhwa just shows how human they are and how actions do in fact have very devastating consequences and whether that be life or fate idk the author is genuis im going insane

LITERALLY, like he was a CHILD who didnt understand the weight of his wish. He didnt know that making that wish would ruin Han-gyul's childhood/life. Is Euhan a bit obsessed and mentally unstable? Yeah but it's literally stated that Gyul was the first person that made him feel anything. Euhan isnt a saint but he was literally retching at the thought of his feelings bc he knew that at the end of the day he couldnt have him due to his guilt and wish. I love how he’s written and I typically like characters like that BUT usually in the cases of other manhwas SOMETIMES the other option isn’t great or there is no other option. In this manhwa however, there is another option, his original fated partner who is 1000x better. I really don’t see why anyone would want the ml to be endgame for this particular manhwa, makes no sense even if he is a complex character

His original fated partner killed ppl and was literally/still is a gangster... and he's using Mc to get with his brother for his own selfish happiness... he isn't abt better

This is a childish comparison I’m actually baffled….Did you even read this manhwa? I’m sure back then he rejected the mc and made it VERY clear he WAS into the brother, you’re acting as if he led the mc on purposely just to get with the brother. He has been VERY transparent that he cares about both of them but liked the brother. And I think you forgot the part where he THOUGHT the brother was his fated partner that’s why he started perusing him (then developed into real feelings). It’s common knowledge that with the red thread theory that the people on BOTH ends are drawn to each other so it wouldn’t be his own “selfish” happiness, though it’s already been said that all he really wants is a family and people to love.

Now onto the part where he is a gangster, sure yeah, he’s not the best of a person BUT compared to the ML literally RUINING the mc’s life since childhood and trying to get his way/constantly lying to to the mc OR a guy that genuinely cares about you and your family, anyone with a sane mind would pick the person that cares and actually has a heart.

(Once again) Yes he’s killed people, and no one is saying he’s a saint but he’s never harmed the mc or his family despite them being in debt to him, you can actually tell he has a heart and is very lenient (especially with that guy who was giving him info abt the red string, he literally spared him/gave him extra time because of the info) and we see there (like I said) that all he truly wants is love/a family.

In his flashback, the old man states that if he severes the (FALSE) tie, he will either go back to his ORIGINAL lover (mc) or maybe get tied to someone else, NOTHING is saying that he will be tied with the older brother from this, scroll down a little more in that chapter and he literally says that he wants to get rid of that tie between the mc and ML to end the torture he’s going through (his dreams of the MC) and potentially the fact that his love life is miserable because the ML fucked everything up, and if you scroll down a little he says he “USED” to like the older brother BEFORE he left, the older brother is skeptical and says he thought he was only helping because he had an “ ulterior motive” but he very clearly looks pissed and then as I’ve said earlier, states that he used to like the brother so he wouldn’t have one. Please go read chapter 71 again, he’s no longer perusing the older brother, he just wants to restore everything to how it’s been
