im actually not against in having a romance for this but it feels so rushed? also, that confession feels so forced. like, theres no chemistry between them and it was all one sided because ml focused on his identify, career, and family that it really felt like he doesn't have feelings for her (i could be wrong tho cuz it's been a while since ive read the prev season). they shouldve made more scenes with her first in this season before that confession because its so ahh. and wdym that the one who pulled you up when youre down was her?? how about your mother, motivation, friends, etc.??

No I actually read this series a few times already it does come a bit out of nowhere I mean we can tell she liked him from the beginning but youngguk never showed he likes her like that and BAM confession happened (which I think is also weird there's no moments shown leading up to her deciding to confess) idk maybe the author is just too rushed to wrap up the story since we're already nearing the very end

This!!! You took the words right out of my mouth. It always just felt platonic between them for me, like I know she had feelings but for youngguk it felt like it came straight out of the left field. Like huh???? Wdym you like her now???? There was no indication of this earlier and the part where he was talking about how he felt about her leaving to America felt very mom friend to me, not romantic feelings hdndhdndb I don't think I would've minded a romance for him bc he deserves it but it would've been nice to have it built up a lot more than the tiny bit of crumbs that don't feel like romantic feelings so we're not all like "????? Where did this come from???" It just feels very slapdash and not as nicely thought out/planned as the rest of the story
