If you are basing on their current situation ofc this is a romance story of course there will be romance involved (but if we are reading the same story lol). The reincarnated regas hasn’t figured out his feelings towards the king yet he still see him as an innocent child who needs tender love and care. Also, he doesn’t have any lustful intent and bad intentions towards the king. They still haven’t figured out their feelings yet. In short, there is no grooming involved it doesnt fall in the category of grooming.
Actually, it's not. And the MC doesn't feel right about getting together with the ML, but to be honest he didn't have a choice. This part bothered me in the novel, MC just wants to be there for ML no matter what for the sake of the world, but in the end the ML decides what their relationship will be in spite of what MC thinks. Even if he hated and rejected it, ML wouldn't stop, so the power balance is very much in his hands. Also, he didn't raise the ML, he taught him and took care of him for a few months at most. He does eventually fall for ML, but he never had such intentions toward him at first.
