i think the author has sort of implied she’s still alive and in a coma? i think it was off handedly suggested in those dream sequence chapters & i’ve glommed onto it as the only solution to end the story in any way—some inciting incident, she wakes up & so disappears, angst, reunion, END.

Although I am enjoying the smut scenes so much, I can’t help thinking what is the end of this story. Will this be a happy ending wherein she would either be isekaid in someone else’s body or he would die just so they can be together as ghosts. Can those be called happy ending?
