I'm also reading Dane and Grayson novel as well. Tho I'm only at chapter 50. I love KMIYC more but DMIYC is also good. So far I'm liking it and Grayson low-key is funny as hell. I hope they adapt it into a manhwa too

Chase and Josh’s relationship felt kinda rushed to me. The tension was building up so nicely, and I absolutely loved the coyote attack part—I even imagined Chase as a beautiful princess being protected and flirted with by this battered, handsome man with a beard holding a cigarette. But then after their night on the beach, they just became a full-on couple. It felt like the author skipped a step or two in between.

It's so far my favorite of the Zig novels, but it as always depends on personal preferences.
The story is different from the others, it has some more comedy vibes and Grayson is hilarious. And always expect the unexpected with Grayson.^^
But stangely those two of all characters probably slept less with each other than the couples in the other stories.lol

Grayson had a very good character development.
Grayson and Dane are a very good match.
They can be so stupid and crazy together, probably the most chaotic couple in Zig's universe.

Chase and Josh are my favorite couple and I love their story so much but I completely agree with you at the end the story was TOO RUSHED like that could have easily been 3 extra volumes with side storie but seems like the author got bored and just resolved everything quickly and ended the story :(
Yessss me too!! I also hated Grayson's guts during KML (the manhwa) and KMIYC and was lwk scared when I heard he was gonna have his own manhwa buutttt I loved it so much!!
I didn't feel like it was rushed. I felt like they're just really good at solving their miscommunication (jealous 1 minute, communicating why, solved in the minute, that's them) so they are good at making out. They are my favorites because MC is fire and it's hard to find a couple that are horny for each other as much as those 2 in the BL world.
I understand what you mean. I love how crazy they are for each other and how they communicate their feelings. What I meant by ‘rushed’ was that their relationship jumped to being fully together right after the coyote attack and sleeping together. Chase was already falling for Josh, and the tension was there, but I wish there were a few more moments in between—maybe a couple of chapters to flesh out the development of their relationship a bit more. I’m not sure how to explain it any better.
Oh yeah, Diana! I totally forgot about that can. I wish there were more side stories. I wonder if Dane threw Diana away. Also, I really wanna see (read) their wedding—it’d probably be chaotic, heartwarming, or both. But most of all, I’m curious how they make a living. I mean, they could totally live luxuriously without worrying, but they’re both jobless and relying on Ashley’s money.
Only if he found a way without making Grayson upset, but he really dislikes seeing that can.lol
I also wanted to see Dane's reaction when he sees Alex's house.:D
There is a second extra planned for later this or next year, the author mentioned that it will be much longer than the first extra.
I actually don't think that Grayson is really relying on Ashley's money. It's Dane who thinks that, Grayson doesn't mention anything in this regard.
First, iirc Grayson actually has a law degree. Second, he did investments and is for example a shareholder of Keith's production firm. And Koi mentioned in extra 2 of LMUIYC that he did some investment with the family money as a hobby.
My guess is that Grayson did some clever investments and let the money work for him, that would actually fit him.lol And it's even more likely, since Dane thinks the money comes from Ashley, which actually means that it's not the case.^^
That’s probably the case! I didn’t read LMUIYC so I don’t know, but living the easy life is Grayson’s specialty so I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what he’s been doing.
I really hated Grayson in KML (only read the manhwa version) and KMIYC but after reading DMIYC, I absolutely adore him and Dane. Personally, I enjoyed his story more than KMIYC. Virginia, Venus, Ambrosia—it’s all too funny! I really hope DMIYC gets its own manhwa too. I wanna see how Virginia could disappear between the Venuses—I can’t visualize it with just the description.
