That's expensive. How many the subsidiaries the government spend on you medically?

Ooo I pay almost 26 grand a year for healthcare and it just went up $200 a month this year so I don’t know what it will be all together cause if I do the math I’d find out I’m better off dying

It’s honestly heartbreaking to read this. I work in healthcare in my country, and here the entire system is 100% free — even very expensive treatments. For example, my mom has an autoimmune disease and would have to spend $6,000 a month on her medication if it weren’t covered. I feel so proud to be part of this system, and it’s devastating to see that in other places people feel like they can’t even call an ambulance for help.

Yeah, 26k for healthcare every year is unthinkable. In my country you can get into private hospitals and get high class treatment with that much.

Btw subsidiaries are the cost that government pays for the citizens. Usually for essential foods like egg, petrol gas, medicals, and education. This is to lessen the burden on citizen.

I can’t imagine that. Where I live healthcare is provided by the government but not everything is covered. There’s private healthcare in addition to u can spend as much as u want for the best and extra like everywhere. But if you work part of your pay is deducted for the public healthcare and part is paid by your employer. Prescriptions cost a fee but there’s a cap if you have chronic illness and for kids up to 18 free also their dental. It’s a decent system I’d say. And ambulance is covered as far as I know. Emergencies in any case. I heard that’s not necessarily covered in US and almost passed out from shock. I hope it’s not true but probably is ╥﹏╥

Yeah we don’t have a lot of stuff here some stuff we do have is nice but some things are not so nice I’m sure it’s the same in different places but I only have my perspective from over here so I’m use to it.
